How you nurture yourself all depends on what it is you are dealing with in your personal life.

Are you dealing with health matters?

Are you having relationship challenges and feeling your partner at arms length?

Is your family avoiding you and ignoring you or your feelings?

Are you having a higher level of stress and anxiety than normal?

Are you feeling more angry than normal, more tired than normal?

Are you feeling isolated, alone, sad?

How do you nurture yourself in these different situations? They each have different paths one would take to feel better, heal, come to solutions or happiness depending on the circumstance.

The first thing that is helpful is to do a daily meditation practice. You can start with 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, or 30 minutes. Just that short window of time will make you feel so much better. some people like to jump in and start with an hour. If you have the time, go for the hour. If not, try a smaller time frame.

Then do something that’s going to nurture your soul, perhaps a new spiritual practice, such as yoga, chakra healing, reading a spiritual book, learning about angels, crystals, breath work, or even getting acupuncture, massage or a reiki treatment.

Another excellent practice is drinking a specific tea that is helpful for your situation. There are many teas on the market, and many you can make at home. Most teas are made with natural herbs and are a cheaper solution than buying multiple bottles of different herbs, or oils. Herbs and essential oils can be costly when buying in bulk, but teas are very affordable. Try to match your situation with the type of tea that would be helpful for that. If you don’t know, try seeking a tea expert, an herbalist, or feel free to reach out to me for suggestions.

Next, write down everything that is going on. It is very helpful to write down your feelings, and using your writing as a sort of therapy. Writing is very cathartic and sometimes when you write down what you feel, what happened, and the situation, it can help you let it go and feel so much better about things. Then you are able to move on from it, and almost feel empowered that you expressed yourself. Some people don’t like to write, but try pushing yourself a little, via a wordpress document, in notes on your computer, or even writing in a spiral notebook or nice journal book. It sometimes feels very good to write things down with a real pen or pencil. It touches a different part of the brain and releases energy pent up in your throat and lower chakras, believe it or not. It’s not going to have the same benefit as a meditation, or chakra healing, but it is still quite powerful.

Are you an artist, musician or do you like doing things with your hands? This could be a great way to nurture your inner self, and help get through a challenging event, experience, or point in your life. You don’t have to be an expert. As long as you do it, put your heart into it and are intentional, anything you do can be helpful, and in the end, amazing!

Many people use food as a de-stressor when they are upset or down about things. That could mean that they eat more, or they eat less. Having any relationship to food, whether its avoiding it, or putting more attention on it, is a relationship with food.

A larger emphasis on our society focuses on the people who put more attention on food when they are stressed; eating more, binging, overeating even when they are full, or doing nothing but sitting and eating. But what about the people who are stressed and use food as something to avoid?

“I’m not really that hungry.”

“I ate enough, thank you!”

“I’m watching my weight now.”

“That doesn’t taste good anymore.”

When someone is in a new situation, a changed situation, or their life has altered completely, and they say some of these things, consider that they might just be in shock (and really not even know it), are upset about something, and don’t have the words to talk about it.

Any change in diet at all, is a change, and often a means for that person to handle the stress they are experiencing in their life. If you are close to a loved one who’s diet has changed, and you notice it, say something. Encourage them to tell someone and ask for support. They may just need to talk about their feelings, gain a little understanding on the change in lifestyle, feel alone and neglected, harboring anger at themselves or others, or maybe they don’t know how they are feeling at all.

Acupuncture, actually is an excellent practice for clearing the blocks in the body and regaining balance in one’s energy system quickly, and returning to their normal diet. If you’re the person who has changed your diet, consider your feelings, and take into account that they matter. Talk to someone. Start a journal, a meditation practice or even yoga!

For some people, change is a very difficult thing to accept, and during the time of adjusting to the acceptance, a little support goes a long way!

As soon as you notice you are bloated, gassy, and you ate something that made your stomach feel heavy, weighs you down, and made your stomach stick out more than your normal diet of healthy foods, pay attention to that!!!!! Notice…..write that food down!!!! And don’t eat it again (for a LONG time), and perhaps, maybe, eat a grapefruit the next time you have the craving, drink some water, or just meditate and focus on the feeling in your body!!! What you could do, now this is just what I do, you have free will, but you could go into yoga poses that enhance the release of the gas!!! Literally, make yourself fart!!!! There are a bunch of yoga poses that help do that!!! And do them! And, even rest. Sometimes when we eat foods that make us feel gross inside, it affects everything else too, and we just need to relax, lay down, or sit. That could be a great time to meditate. Do your journaling of your food diet, or whatever else you want to journal about, read, etc. Don’t let other people push you around. Just do what’s going to heal you, and make YOU feel good!

Note: Any yoga poses that put pressure on the stomach, actually are the poses that help release that feeling in the belly, the gas, etc. Ie. child pose, knees to chest when laying on the back, etc. And there are alternatives to poses that make poses much easier than what you see in books, on tv, etc and they can support you to do the poses when you think you can’t.

Yoga is a very powerful form of weight loss! Not only will it help strengthen and stretch the body, it will also aid in detoxing and releasing toxins, energy and weight that has been stuck in the body for some time. The longer the weight has been held up in the body, most likely, the longer it will take to let it go. However, don’t give up on yourself. Give yourself the time, and pleasure of yoga, self awareness and healing to lose your weight and get the body back that you love!

Have you every had the experience where you went somewhere to do a kind deed, and then someone went from being helpful and giving to rude and controlling without a moment’s notice?

Today I had a strange experience, at a Hallmark, where I went to buy my mom a gift, and the woman at the register ended up calling the cops. I was a bit dumb-shocked to say the least. We were having a great conversation, about reiki, energy healing, yoga and the healing arts, and as we were making the transaction at the register, she told me the total amount for the starfish earrings I was getting was $9.49, and I handed her a twenty dollar bill, 4 ones and 49 cents. I said, “can you hand me back $15, a ten and a five?” She wasn’t paying attention at this point, and had given me 2 fives. She didn’t see that there was four ones and 49 cents on her counter. She said, “I already gave you two fives.” I looked at them at the counter, and said, “you just owe me another five.” Apparently, she had never taken the ones and change.

She looked at me and said, “I’m going to have to recount my money.” I said, “all you have to give me is a 5 and we’re good.” She still apparently was oblivious that the money on the counter was for her. Five minutes had gone by, and I’m still waiting. I had no idea she wanted to have me wait to count her entire til and have me standing there for over 10 or fifteen minutes. At this point, I was frustrated. I said, “mam, this doesn’t have to be complicated.”

She said, “If you interrupt me again, I’m calling the police.” I just looked at the counter, looked at her drawer, and looked at her. Obviously she was extremely angry, about something I didn’t know what. And, she wanted me to take some punishment of some kind of her lack of awareness of what I handed her, and the amount that was the difference. Saying, “it’s simple math” didn’t make her very happy. At some point I felt her control. I felt her anger, and she was adamant on doing it her way, and making me wrong for having a thought about it, and wanted to start over her counting process 2 or 3 or more times.

Perhaps if she said, “I didn’t count the additional change you gave me. The balance is worked out” it would have been fine. I would have gotten it, but she wanted to make a small situation into a really big one, and hold me there until she resolved her counting process several times. So ultimately the cop showed up. He was a super sweet, patient and nice man. He stood there watching me watch her. She had us both wait until she was done counting. By the time she was done, she said, “You owe me a dollar. My til is short one dollar.” By this time I wanted to be done, and said, “I’ll pay your dollar that you’re short, but I don’t owe you a dollar.” The officer handed her a dollar of his own, and said, “This is ridiculous. This shouldn’t be a big deal.” She felt satisfied, and while standing there I apologized for interrupting her while she was trying to count. She said sternly, “I accept your apology.”

I said, “Are we done?” She said “yes.” I went to leave and the officer followed me outside, and said, “Come talk to me.”

We went outside and walked to the side. He said, “Are you satisfied with how it ended?” And, I said, “I think she just got really confused, and she was really upset.” He said, “Yes, she turned something tiny into something huge. I hope you feel you were treated fair and you got complete.” I said “thank you, she was just super upset.”

She certainly gave me anxiety by using this manipulation tactic and projecting her anger outwards.

Not only was she upset. She was controlling and seriously angry. She had commented that because I’m a Life Coach, teach meditation, yoga and healing that I shouldn’t “act this way”. I think more she meant, “You shouldn’t make me upset when you are a Life Coach, Healer, Yoga Teacher, etc”. However, no one can control another person’s upset. If someone becomes controlling, demanding and angry, its on them. It came from within them. Energy transference from someone dominating you to make you scared, or manipulate to keep you in fear, or hold their “fangs on you”, is not the way to sort something out. She was not responsible on how she forgot what I handed her, and if she did remember, she was using control for another reason. It wasn’t nice. All she had to do was acknowledge the action, and acknowledge the error, but not everyone is willing to admit their mistakes. And they choose to put their mistakes on others. It’s sad to be at the receiving end of this, but I’m grateful the cop got it, and was apologetic and kind to me in the end!

Perhaps she was confused. Perhaps she was jealous. Perhaps she wanted to see if she could make me upset. And, perhaps she went from being open in one moment, to getting triggered, and has some hidden agenda to make people wait for her as her way of controlling them. And, if she doesn’t get what she wants in doing this, she feels out of control, and hence, needed to call the cops. I feel bad for her, but it doesn’t seem she is in the right profession and I feel privy to filing a complaint on her. Or, I too, can let it go. But I do hope she doesn’t treat other customers in the same way. No one deserves that!

Perhaps, too, she just needs some love, and some real healing herself!

As a woman who’s a survivor, sometimes things happen in our lives that re-trigger old wounds and bring things back up. Many times we think we are over something that happened in our past, but when something to another seems subtle, and to the survivor it brings back memories of feeling overpowered or violated, we are definitely not 100% over it! I noticed this in my own journey. I am a woman who has conquered much, however, sometimes there are moments of weakness, and I’m learning to use these moments as teachers, as a guide to transform yet again.

After the recent event, when I was in an intimate moment, and a man I was involved with, to him casually put a pillow over my head and I couldn’t breathe for a couple seconds, to me it was the exact thing that triggered me into my old trauma. I said in the moment, “You deserve to be smacked!” after he moved the pillow from my face, and said, “don’t take it so seriously. It was just a joke!” I said, “no, it certainly was not a joke, and not funny!” And, perhaps to some, it may have been seen as a form of Dominance/Submission, as it was only a couple seconds. However, to a survivor, you don’t treat a woman this way, as it definitely will re-activate something dormant. I was hoping I was resolved with this myself, however, it got me present to realize, perhaps I am not totally complete, and that even though I can live my life fully, when these moments happen, it is so important to seek the help one needs to help with the triggers.

Without these moments, one cannot become aware of what is hidden, and perhaps others around you see all the time. And, so I will take action yet again, and do what I myself need to do, to help, to let go, and to return to love!

During times when a woman is re-triggered into rape, what do you do? How do you help her, Or, how do you help yourself?

Things I have done to help when the triggers show up:

~Be Gentle with Yourself, don’t judge yourself as wrong for not being complete, or for having a reaction that to others may not affect.

~Do Yoga as your daily self love practice, meditate, gentle yoga and breathe!

~Call a friend, a loved one, a therapist, a coach, a healer, or if you are religious a priest/someone you trust and feel safe talking to.

~Drink calming tea

~Go for walks if you have the energy

~Do breathwork!

~Rest, watch a movie or read a book if you’re tired

~If you’re a parent, let someone else take care of your child for a while to help you process

~Get flower essences, healing herbs and massage

~Journal, write, and records your feelings, your thoughts and your dreams!

~Cuddle with someone you love!

~Trust, this is just a moment in time, it will soon pass!

It saddens me that in our majority of our culture people don’t want true tantra; nor do they know what true tantra really is. The sex industry, and the porn industry have bought the term tantra, so most people in our society believe it to be something it is not truly meant to be. There is a fine line between tantra and the sexual and that’s where it gets confusing, but most only understand it to be a sexual practice, and not a yogic one. However, true tantra has the foundations and deep training of simple yogic philosophy, emotional healing, chakra healing, energy clearing, deep breathing, meditation, pranayama breath work, awareness and true surrender to the emotions and deep journeying of the emotions in the body. All of these things are NOT sexual at all. However, they are tantric. Many would say that going deep into the emotional process is not a tantric practice, however, if you study enough, go back far enough in the ancient teachings, get shamanic training with the ancient ancestors, and do your spiritual training LONG enough, you will discover the power in it and that in fact it is a tantric journey. Because EVERYTHING is tantric. Everything has to do with surrendering deep enough, and long enough into the self, and that is a Yoga practice.

However, many yogi’s in our culture believe that they need to abstain from the sexual, and that incorporating the sexual into their yogic practice is like breaking a rule, just like in the Christian or Catholic Religion says to abstain from sex until marriage.  In the end, this Yoga Teaching and the restriction of Christian Religion almost is the same thing. Neither are about honoring your true natural body and your true heart.  They want you to control it.  However, yoga is tantra, and tantra is yoga. It is about surrendering to the body, the feelings, the energy, the emotions and the space of what is. That makes the term tantra unlimited, and controlling its definition is impossible. Just like limiting the term tantra to just the spiritual is impossible as well. However, tantra is sacred, and many who believe to know its meaning automatically and immediately want to take it to the place of the sexual, and this is not sacred.  Assuming it will go there, or forcing it go there, and trying to control it is certainly NOT yogic and certainly NOT spiritual, nor is it sacred.  And I found that in working as a Tantric Healer for SO long that many did come with the thought in the back of their mind that they had to control the situation if it was not going the way they had planned or expected. However, when one comes to learn tantra, they are in fact coming to learn yoga, they are coming to learn of their true emotions, their true nature and their true energy patterns. True tantra is mastering the psyche, but also mastering ones energy, ones breath, ones body and using it as a tool to expand themselves to a full capacity of deep love from within. That is it! When these experiences open someone up to the point of feeling deep pleasure from within and it comes naturally, it is tantric.

However, when one comes and expects the erotic with no background of the spiritual, they are NOT asking for tantra training. They are in fact asking for erotic training. They are different. And, others could argue that erotic training could be tantric, however, without the spiritual component and without any base of spiritual background, they will not have their roots firmly planted. They will be putting their seeds in the wrong garden and the spiritual garden of love will not grow. It will be sitting on the sideline waiting for someone to water it, but it will eventually wither up and  die, because the erotic garden got more attention. It is possible to access love through the erotic, but only when those seeking the erotic come to the place to realize that their heart needs nurturing and love and they choose to pull back and go deeper within their feelings. Then their heart will shine and they will have balance. However, by this point they will have to surrender their ego’s and re-learn the true meaning of tantra, and they may have hurt a lot of people they cared about along the way, or could have cared about as they realize all the damage they have done. They will have a lot of people to reach out to and apologize, or try to clean up any mess they made by forcing their sexual needs onto others. However, when one starts their practice by going deep into the yogic journey and true spiritual development, there will be less hearts broken, less messes to clean up and they will develop their skills gradually and become the true healer/lover/friend/yogi they have always wished to be.

I would SO love to meet those who truly want to learn true tantra, and truly want to go deep into their personal healing journey. For those, I have much to teach and much to share!

Everything you share here is exactly where I am at in my own practice of giving to others. Here in the West, it is extraordinarily difficult to help others truly understand what the term “tantra” really means. And in the end, those who don’t get it truly won’t get it when we as Dakinis and Healers try to make them get it, hoping they will surrender to our truths and wisdom when they simply are just not ready. They need to do their personal work first. And only then will they truly understand what the term tantra really is, when and after they’ve delved so deep into their psyche and their self that they will come to tantra as a celebration of all the hard work they have done on their self. SO many assume and presume tantra means sex, that it puts us who are truly attempting to offer something of value and sacred, that it takes the sacred out of it. I am going to be also taking another Yoga Teacher Training come soon, and am moving into offering my Intuitive Psychic Healing gifts at a whole other level. Intuitive Deep Relaxation Therapy; for channeling the healing needed at an energetic level with the inner self, Quantum Intuitive Healing for healing the entire self; emotional, mental, energetic, spiritual and auric fields and any energies on the layers outside the body from 5 to 15 feet around and above the head. And Emotional Energy Therapy for allowing those who are ready to go deep into their emotional process and release pain in their physical body to let go of their armor and struggle within. I am excited to move into this direction, have some fear of the transition and shift in income, but know I am honoring my heart and trust this is where spirit is guiding me! I love how spirit reminds me of the importance to be pure, and when I am not, life shows up as the same. As I purify myself, and my energy is thriving, so too is all life around me. Each chakra has a significant importance to a very specific area of your life, your energy, your bodies flow, the emotional nature you are made up of, and the very core thing that drives you to be as natural and authentic as you!

There are many books on the chakras, and many teachers who bring wisdom of insight on the chakras. However, I like to remind those with interest, the importance and relevance the chakras have on every single aspect of our lives, and how all parts of our lives are impacted by the level of clarity our chakras exist in. You may find knowledge on the chakras through yoga, or chi gung, or reiki, taoism, chinese medicine, ayurveda, massage, different religions, books on meditation, health, psychology, and many others.  However, not one will be more right than the other. They all have wisdom and they all have truth.

When we are clouded, we are letting life control us. When we take the time to become clear, and pure, we bring a freshness to life that offers a new set of eyes each and every time we cleanse ourselves to our wholeness again! The root chakra, anchors you to the earth, helps one feel secure, connected to their bodies and the world around them.

The second or sacral chakra is ones center of creativity, their relationship portal and the openness or closeness one has to be intimate with others.

The third or solar plexus, is ones control and power center, and the area one allows to be controlled by others or to choose to take control of ones life in their own hands.

The heart or 4th chakra, the area of giving and receiving love, the most basic human need, and yet often the one many block or resist out of fear, sadness or worry.

The 5th or throat chakra, the area of ones speaking their voice, their truth, to be heard what is deep inside of them, and the place their creativity leaves the body.

The 6th or third eye center, where one can see the future, their intuition, inner wisdom, insight, ability to trust in the unknown, and receive spiritual guidance and messages.

The crown or 7th chakra, where one is connected to spirit, God, the infinite and the essence to all that is; where one feels the openness to their innocence and the sacredness to the divine.

I am grateful for another opportunity to be cleared, and a vehicle to open the door to wisdom, and a place for my creativity to be opened and anchored in the world! Crystal Healing

Upon walking in to my Healing space, you will undress and stand before me. You will be smudged with a Native American Smudge stick, or broken pieces of sage, and cleansed of your stress, and whatever energy you may have been experiencing prior to this moment. I will chant musical tones and Sanskrit mantras over your body. My breath and voice will nourish your soul and cleanse your spirit.  After the front of your body is cleared I will ask you to turn facing your backside towards me. I will continue the ritual on the other side of your body, and upon completion have you sit on my purple pleasure couch. You will still be naked, and I will scan your body with my inner wisdom, and offer a few crystals for you to hold. I will prepare you to move into tantric bliss with a tantra meditation that starts very subtle, and moves to very intense. When you are ready, I will have you lay down, and continue the state you are in, with the crystals and your breath, and my touch.

Cuddle Sessions

My Cuddle Sessions are often the practice done prior to any Intimacy Therapy Healing or nurturing session. They can also be a catalyst for your deeper healing, healing your heart, cleansing your chakras, or arouse your sexual appetite, and begin sacred sexual energy healing.

You may choose a Cuddle Session, and only desire to work on healing your heart, and we can then do a reiki hands on or massage session when you are ready and have received enough energy from me.

You may also choose to do a Cuddle Session, and desire to move into other Tantric practices for sensuality, sexuality or healing whatever issues you are dealing with in your life (such as relationship issues, emotional issues, sex, self love, etc).

You may choose to receive a Hugging practice with me, do eye gazing, and do nothing else. This alone can heal the entire body; for the eyes remove the energy between two people, and open up an energy vacuum to cleanse the spirit. I’ve done this practice for over an hour in the past, and my entire body turned orgasmic. It can be quite powerful!

Cuddle Sessions can just be a Hugging Session that I do in my Hugging Power Classes, and move slowly, deeply into an embraced hug while in a sitting position. And I can then hold you in my arms, as you need to be nurtured, or you may feel the desire to hold a woman and we may stay connected this way for some time.

We can move into any other practice after the hugging or cuddle segment that will be supportive to you in this moment!

Now that we are moving into the depth of fall, lifestyles are changing. We are moving into wearing more clothes, having more time outside, and sometimes our visions of our-selves change in the process. How is everyone doing? After the Thanksgiving Holiday is over, and preparing our feasts, spending hours long with our family members, we then dive into our Reunions, As I contemplate this season, I feel the passion for cleansing; cleansing my body, my spirit and my home. I’m changing eating habits to cleanse the extra weight from eating foods that put on pounds and within days I’m noticing the water weight quickly leaving me. I’ve replaced sugar for stevia, coffee with flavored creams to plain organic teas, salads with heavy dressing to olive oil, and energy drinks to green tea, essential oils and flower essences. In my home I’ve donated my son’s outgrown toys and clothes, cleaned the bathtub and toilet, and purchased excellent All Natural Coconut Oil and Olive Oil for new Sessions.

Instead of holding grudges on people, you could:
Consider their viewpoints; contemplate another way of looking at the situation
Hold compassion for others in your mind
Be more giving.

Instead of eating the same foods the same way, you could:
Consider some foods that put weight on you (make a list of the foods that make you feel bloated, lethargic, depleted or sick)
Trust your own body and listen to your body rhythms
Consider substituting out foods for better choices
Drink more water, and less soda, coffee or juices
Replace caffeine for herbs, vitamins or vegetables

Instead of harboring anger against your children, you could:
Be more patient and understanding
Look at the situation from their point of view
Take a moment to breathe before responding
Consider new ways to interact
Offer a new solution
Consider a family adventure

Instead of blaming your partner for your relationship problems, you could:
Start looking at why you are creating the situation in the first place
Ponder what it is that you are thinking that causes their reaction
Deal with your own stress responsibly
Communicate from a place of compassion and take time away if you are upset before speaking
Look at what it is you are doing, AND not doing, and go back to your relationship agreements (if there has been no agreements made, make them)
Communicate your needs and listen to the needs of your partner
Compromise

Instead of blaming everyone else in your life for your problems, you could:
Eliminate or maintain minimal contact with certain people in your life that are toxic
Talk to a Therapist, Counselor, Healer or Coach to sort things out
Start a Journal
Go for a Daily Walk
Go to Yoga or Exercise
Get a Massage, Acupuncture, Chiropractic care, or a Spiritual/Holistic Healing Session
Meditate
Start or recommit to your own personal growth
Find friends on the same page as you (similar goals, beliefs, passions, etc).
Try Ayurveda, Aromatherapy or Flower Essences
Recommit to a Spiritual Practice
Look at yourself!

Contemplate what the summer will bring you or what it could do to cause you suffering, and change your approach so the next couple months for you are rewarding, satisfying and enjoyable!

Here is my first video I made on the Dynamics and Approaching a Woman in your life. There will definitely be a Volume 2, and so on to this, and I may at some point re-do the 1st one and create an Introduction instead. However, this is the 2nd video I made. Like I said, these are the baby steps to creating videos. I may be getting some professionals to help out of this, or I may just get better at doing this myself. I’ll be playing with different lighting, backgrounds, and spacial arrangements to see what is best, but the delivery is good. I hope you enjoy this, and find it, at the least, a bit helpful.

I was not looking at notes in this one. I was just looking down while I was thinking and choosing my next words. I sometimes pause to think of what I am going to say next. I like the distance of my face the best in this, but I will be creative with this process with you, and am happy to make changes as people recommend things to try.

I am in the process of creating a Video for the Book: Mystery of Women, and will be working on getting this succinct. I am enjoying this journey of sharing what I love to you, and hope you are enjoying my journey of giving it just as much!

Affirm “I do not deserve to have this as part of my experience anymore!” And, for anyone who has been living in a toxic environment, I’d say the same exact thing! Health symptoms are different for EVERY person, and they move throughout the body and change up as though on a scale of Wheel of Fortune or Lets Make a Deal, etc morning game show programs.
One year ago these were my thoughts on my symptoms:
Oh, to hold a glass of wine in my hand and actually be able to drink it, to run down the street for miles not thinking I’ll be in pain for a week afterwards and questioning if I should do it, to dance all night long, to be fully expressed in my body, to be fully healthy and functional and able to count on my body and rely on it, to be alert and pain free and able to run after my son and play with him easily, or throw him around if he wants without complaint or giving up quickly, to finish tasks to their completion, to be reliable and counted on,  etc.,  etc., etc.”

 

WHAT I DID TO SUPPORT THE SYMPTOMS
I am writing this piece as a recommendation from a friend and to those who requested to know why I am so happy and vibrant, that these products really do help.
So, I am an advocate for Herbology, among Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Flower Essences and Aromatherapy, but in this moment, we’re talking about Herbology!
One year ago, I went on a sabbatical cleansing process and for 5 days, I got up every morning and made my own smoothie, by hand, and put together a list of ingredients to support the healing or ease of the many symptoms. This was my list:
NUTRIENTS
What I put in my own smoothie:
Any milk you want to start with, I use Almond Milk, and sometimes Hemp milk
Raw Chocolate Cocao Powder ~ Maya Superfood – food added flavor and health benefits of Cocao
Vanilla Protein Powder formula – for those vegetarians or added protein to support the muscles
Green Superfood Powder Formula ~ (Amazing Grass Co.) – alkaline balance, health immune function, amazing energy, to provide chlorophyll, which aids in detoxification, and other valuable nutrients and enzymes.
Echinacea Goldenseal Combo Extract (tincture liquid drops) ~ (Gaia Herbs Co) – Echinacea – for immune enhancing, Goldenseal – antibiotic (do not take goldenseal for more than 1 week at a time)
Milk Thistle Extract – protects the liver
MACA (not for Lyme’s but great enhancer in my opinion) – (Herb Farm Co) Liquid extract to be added to drink – for sexual libido and energy (excellent for sexual health, awesome energy, etc).
Hemp Seeds – to be chewed – Omega 3, 6 and 9s, plus – 1 tbsp. Essential fatty acids are just good for you, great for emotional health too – great for joints and inflammation, helps combat pain and an anti-inflamatory
Bee Pollen Granules ~ to be chewed (Y.S. Eco Bee Farms Co) – to repair tissue and rebuild the blood
Kelp (Liquid Drops) ~ Contains essential vitamins and minerals and aids in detoxifying the body (only realized I own this just today)
Hemp Protein Powder – Essential Amino Acids, Omega 3’s, and 6’s
Barley Grass
Stevia drops for flavor
This helped for a while, until I discovered it was in fact NOT Lyme’s, but toxicity in the body from living right alongside and sleeping on top of mold, for YEARS!
VITAMINS TO TAKE IN ADDITION WITH FOOD
Garlic ~ helpful to just add in the diet whenever possible, in cooked foods in particular in a crock pot, a wok, or soups – aids in the immune system and acts like an antibiotic.
Multi-Vitamin (Women’s) ~ just important period, good for necessary vitamins – use a high potency source if possible
Vitamin E ~ any brand you like, can also be squeezed out of the liquid gel cap and added to drinks or foods  – An important antioxidant
Zinc Lozenges (Ultimate Zinc C) – Necessary for immune function
Ginseng Root – helpful to rebuild the blood and damaged tissues
Red Clover Capsules ~ (Nature’s Way) – cleanses the blood stream!!!!!
F – Complex & Liver Detox ~ (must get from a Health professional) – Liver detox, to cleanse liver (Lyme’s affects the liver  and when the liver is filled with toxins it can aid to easy aggravation, upset, anger, etc).
There are more vitamins one can take, but for me, 6 was enough!

Fish Oils
Primrose Oil
Selenium
Taurine
Vitamin A
Vitamin C
ADDITIONAL HERBS
Alfalfa – for needed minerals
Dandelion Root,  Hawthorne, Horsetail, Marshmallow Root – all for helping to rebuild the blood and damaged tissues
Antibiotics if you catch it early or find a really good doctor (if you have lyme’s, this is good, but if its mold you’re dealing with DOCTORS WILL NOT BELIEVE YOU).
I have 3 referalls for Holistic Doctors. I may heal it another way, but I’ll keep you informed. These list of vitamins will not cure it. They will only help support it. A cure is the best, but its better to start somewhere than nowhere!

That could be a long story, and I’m writing this quickly before my client comes here, but to put it briefly:

After researching and discovering it was not lyme’s, but in fact mold, I took a stand to move out of that apartment, spent a YEAR long, and continue to, take cleansing products such as: colloidal silver, benzonite clay, activated charcoal, cleansing teas and herbs, use ayurvedic oil pulling EVERY morning and do as best I can to avoid gluten, dairy and processed sugar! Next step is legal action. The journey is not a short one, but once you discover what you’re dealing with, that is the quickest path to ending the problem!
I wish for all to know the TRUE source of any health issues they are dealign with, and instead of taking a long time to get to the truth, and spending countless hours in treatment unnecessary, or putting up with things, and perhaps treating yourself, talk to those who have similar situations, similar conditions and find the answer for YOU!
 

The Breath to Stay IN the Body

The Breath to Stay in the BodyThe breath to stay in the body is a very powerful tool. Most people don’t know how powerful it is until they embark on a Yoga path, start doing Breathwork, receive energy healing sessions, or begin the Advanced practices of Tantra.

Often when someone is receiving a massage, it is not the massage that is completely relaxing them, it is the massage that creates a stimulation in the body to remind the person to come into the body and to take deeper breaths. Ultimately, from taking these deeper breaths, this then is what causes the person to be able to have a fully relaxing and blissful experience during the massage. However, some people who receive massage, may have the most skilled and advanced practitioner working on them, but when they do not breathe properly, are holding their breath, or are not guided in breathing deeply when they may need to, their experience can be rather dull and they may think it’s the practitioner who was not very good, when in fact it was in their own creation of not using their breath to its maximum potential.

When I work in Session with my private clients, I often remind my client to breath deeply. The breath can be a means of escaping the body. Many times when someone is holding their breath, forgets to breath, or falls fast into a deep relaxation when we are doing powerful breathing exercises to raise the Kundalini, or to allow for a deeper sensation of pleasure, this means that there is something blocking the person from going deeper into the practice. When someone slips away from the breath, it is often a slipping away and out of the body as well. This happens when there is a deep emotion, or issue that is ready to come to the surface and wants to be released, but the individual does not know how to deal with it, and instead reacts by suppressing it further and pushing it down, by not breathing or breathing shallow.

By escaping their own body, they are also escaping the fear or pain of what wants to come up to be released, energetically moved or cleared for them. This fear or pain often is unknown of. It doesn’t necessarily need to be something you even know what it is, but when a numbness in the body, or detachment from the body by slipping into shallow breathing happens, this is the exact time you need to be conscious of your breath and begin to breath with more awareness and attention to actively breathe deeper.

Why is being in the body something you want to work towards? Because you will then get to release the block in your vibration, your mind, your emotions and your entire energetic system, and this then will allow you to move into deeper presence in your own body, experiencing pleasure, sensations that you could not even feel before, and an opening in your heart and the ability to love others and receive others more deeply. Doesn’t everyone want to feel more of what they are capable of? Why not let go of what is keeping you from experiencing bliss and allow the breath to be your tool to access it!!!

Yoga and Acupressure – mini updates September 2008

I’m planning to write articles for magazines. I’m in the preparation zone and preparing my mind, body and spirit for the big transition. I’m also painting and hope to create spiritual works of art to add to my writing, as well as singing; which I hope to one day replace the music I love of Donna De Lory and Deva Premal; with my own music as Asttarte Deva. I have a website in the works, that I am building at the present and hope to be done by Christmas. You would love the new site. It is a compilation of spirituality, energy healing, metaphysics, readings, poetry, bodywork, AND the big subject of Tantra. It is a long term goal in putting this together, and my hope is to eventually have it available for music, books, art, tantra dvds (that I create – reason why it’s a long term goal) and other products as well. I’m working 3 or 4 days a week and have to take advantage of that small window where I can work, relax, or go out. We are our baby’s main babysitter right now; the father and I, and we have chosen this for many reasons; one is that we want to instill as much love in this little human being as we possibly can while it matters the most.

I’m taking a Yoga Teacher Training now. I literally signed up for it this past Thursday. I had been thinking about doing it all summer. I was inspired during a beautiful kirtan gathering at Main Line Yoga in Ardmore. Singing in kirtan is one of my favorite things to do, and being a part of the energy of love/God, creates awakenings in my spirit and soul, and in that moment, my guidance was communicating to me strongly that this course would be perfect for the next level of my development. The teacher training is called Yin Yoga, and it is an extremely powerful form of yoga for moving chi in the body; stuck chi, stagnant chi, and becoming more alive in the body by transforming the energy of emotions and physical blocks. The main focus for the course is moving the energy in the meridians such as in Taoism or Chinese Medicine. There are also a lot of key connections in the Yin Yoga Teacher Training related to Ayurveda as well as Tantra. It is a good balance for the Shiatsu Massage and Jin Shin Do Bodymind Acupressure training I have already done (as well as Yoga and Tantra) and reconnects me to that subtle, yet powerful form of healing through movement of the body, breath and energy of chi. Yin Yoga is not for beginners, however, beginners can use it to enhance their Yoga practice, or to help open the body through a subtle, calm, yet powerful practice. I look forward to the new calmness and spiritual connection to source this has already begun to create for me, and the new revelations it will offer for me in my work.

Remembering Presence

 

During the moments of quiet within each breath and the whispers of every second, remaining still becomes presence, and holding space is all that is. As I sit and hold space for my clients, I remember how tranquil and beautiful it feels to be still and present. And in time in sessions this beauty and presence feels like it could last for eternity. Being present is a meditation and a joy to achieve, and although it sounds simple to attain, for many it can be very difficult. And so this is where tantra practice comes in to achieve this balance and doing this with another allows the attainment that much easier. Offering the sessions to another allows the mirror to be reflected; the love you put out comes back to you, the peace you put out comes back to you, and the presence you put out comes back you. Anything you give is received and offered back as love. And so in being still, we create this miracle together.

 

 

It has been a couple months since I’ve offered sessions from after the birth of my beautiful baby.As I return to my practice and the sacred art of healing, by giving of service through sessions, I return to what I love and remember the beauty of being still. As I give to others, I also receive and in teaching meditation and love to others, I also reach the still place of meditation and love in my own self. This gift of giving can be a miracle; not only the miracle of healing to others, but also the miracle of healing oneself.

 

 

I only know the depth and immensity of what healing can do for others by how deep it has impacted my own life.My own testimony to how much I have transformed from all healing paths that I have been trained, received healing, and have had experience in some way is the only way that I know how intensely powerful they all are. However, you must be truly willing to delve deep inside in order to come out of your own shell like the butterfly blossoms from its cocoon.

 

 

As we become still in moments that feel challenging to slow down our body, and slow down our mind, this is when we can truly transform and open our hearts to a more serene place of love. And in being present to others we are also present to ourselves. And, in Tantra, this is healing in a universal way; helping the self and helping the other as the circle of energy makes its way around; from you into them, from them into you and continues this cycle again and again until you choose to end the practice. The energy cycles and circulates from one to another and presence remains while love grows stronger and healing blossoms from within. There is nothing more beautiful and miraculous than this. Slowing down is the biggest key to healing; whether it is tantric healing or any other form; practicing presence is all you need.
